The Team Rejects was formed in 1995 after six members of the then Black Widows MCC (not the Black Widows that we know and love today) had a bit of a disagreement with fellow Black Widows and decided to leave and form their own club. The first meeting was held in the Foley Arms with there were six founder members.
POPS LARKIN (R.I.P. brother) TUD BAGGO DISCO DAVE BILLY SIDESTAND They decided to use an old name from a long split up club called …. wait for it .… yes! Team Rejects, and Tud was sent away with the mission to design the club badge.
Two weeks later in the Foley Arms, the six friends met again to decide on the design they liked for the badge, and so the Team Rejects MCC was born.
Over the years many people have come and gone; we lost POPS to the great rally in the sky, along with other members. The only founder member who has lasted till this day, through thick and thin, is Disco who is now an honorary member. Although Tud has recently returned to the fold of the club, and so has Pyscho (another old member). The club now is sixteen years old, meets at The Powys Arms and is, once again, beginning to grow, and is notably a family oriented club with no political or radical views.
